Tsunade Rocks

New York ComiCon was...big

Like, really big. Walking west on 34th Street towards the Javits Center was like being in a Halloween Parade. I saw things that I'd never imagined, like Sailor Moon kissing Batman. I got a lifetime's worth of ideas for OOC crackfiction.

The Star Wars people were out in, um, force. Middle child looked adorable as Tohru Honda, and received many hugs.

We had press passes, which meant we could go to the VIP lounge. We met several very elderly comic book artists who did beautiful,  dangerous, cutting-edge work. We also got free very bad coffee and sat on the little couches in the roped-off area.

We got Mr. Toast's autograph. (www.mistertoast.com)

The Naruto/Ultimate Ninja booth was incredibly fun. I won an action figure of Jiraiya sitting on Gamabunta's head, which, of course, made my life complete. We also got Naruto and Itachi surrounded by black flame, although Itachi's arm keeps falling off.

I saw Inuyasha, too. He was fat and he beat me at DDR. All in all, it was like being in a fever dream.
