My life in a handbasket

The past two days I have spent in customer service training. It's kind of ridiculous, but this is my favorite part of my job. I learn so much from this guy's workshops.

In going back to the office and it's going to be a mess but so totally worth it and I'm happy.

Sophia found out she made honors choir today!!! 25 kids in her grade tried out and five got picked. She's pretty ecstatic. Last week on my birthday I took her to Fort Worth to give a presentation to a bunch of teachers about this software her school uses. I'm sooo glad she's in this isd now

And I'm on NyQuil because I'm sick tool

he's not going to let me leave tx. he also thinks that ethically, i am entitled to less than half of community property.

he also decided to invite all of tanya's kids to trick or treat night with us instead of just cas. without discussing it with sophia or myself. then guilt tripped the hell out of me. so now instead of a nice quiet night with just a couple kids and my friends, we're going to be packing 12 people into my apartment.

Is a funny thing. Every now and then, I forget to lie and say everything is normal when people ask.

The conversation goes something like this:

"How are you?"
"Depressed."
"Oh no is there anything I can do!!?!?"
"Nope. It's a chemical
Imbalance. Thanks though."
"We'll let me know if you need to talk"
"Hey, thanks I appreciate that"
"Oh and hey you should exercise"
"Go DIAF - er I mean I'm peachy keen"

So another night of my daughter crying herself to sleep. This time not because David bailed on her "at least"

Nope. This time it was because of the continued favoritism. She asked me if it was normal for brothers to be so mean and if David liked Cas more than her. I told her that it's normal for kids to fight bit the parent should be an adult and intercede. Also told her she has my permission to defend herself in any way she sees fit and I will deal with David if she gets in trouble.

So I just looked at my profile. I really need to update it sometime. Except not really because most of the important things haven't changed.

I also still need to stop starting sentences with "so," I'll try to get on that sometime in the next decade.

Three years ago today, I was driving home from my niece's wedding in Colorado while my husband was fucking his coworker.

So a little over ten years ago, I was desperately trying to revive our sex life after Sophia was born. He laughed when I brought these cornball love dice home but didn't get the message. Maybe I should have figured things out then.

Yay.  At bj's waiting for a mojito.  Nothing else to say, but I forgot to post yesterday so I'm doing so today.

I got a job offer today :-)
Life is grand.
Do I really need to say anything more?
