Okay, Linux installed, all functions tentatively confirmed. This was way easier than I was anticipating. If you also have a crusty old laptop, can read/watch guides, and know how to navigate file trees and open the PowerShell, then I would say go for Linux. For basic uses it’s not that hard to figure out.
