Voter Injustice

I am a citizen of the United States, and a registered voter in my state, and I was not allowed to vote this presidential election. When I went to vote the staff was all (non-white) and of the three white people in the building we were all denied our right to vote.

The first man they had in the corner and he was allowed to speak, the second they found on the registration and refused him the right to vote. He raised cane and they finally allowed him to vote.

It was my turn and they could not find me, I told them I had registered in 2009, and they replied "we'll since you didn't vote in 2010 for state politics you cannot vote this year."

I asked them why I was being denied my rights and they just said they couldn't help me and that I had to move from the line, and I was grabbed and moved from the line.

I left. I will be taking this up with my local court house and if I have to take it up with the state I will. I have rights and have the right to vote for my future president.

Reality TV

Write a 300- to 500-word article about how reality TV shows have changed the entertainment industry

Reality television has changed everything so much and for the worst. I do not have a problem with all reality TV shows, I am okay with the educational and the creative shows, they serve a purpose, but then you have shows like “16 and Pregnant” or “Jersey shore” and that warps human’s social environment. With shows like that it promotes that being sixteen or younger and pregnant is okay, because you can get pregnant, apply for the show and be famous, and that is stupid, because teenagers at sixteen should be worried about their future and not making children who they will probably ruin the lives of.

Then you have a show like Jersey shore which is like a disgrace to humanity, you have six degenerate humans who are famous for parading around drinking, smoking and sleeping with anything that moves. They each make a six figure salary and not sure they all hold college degrees. What message are we sending to the future kids? I think we’re telling them you do not have to be a doctor to make a doctor’s salary. But this is the filth we like to watch. I would be okay with this filth being shown if these characters did not make a profit from it or at least not that big of a salary. Promote are children to go to college, not sleep with everyone.

I promise from shows like this speaking as a once single woman, it has changed human interaction and how the opposite sex or same sex interact with each other. Everyone lives in a sense of now, and no one is willing to find a relationship with more meaningful intent when they can hook up with a modern “Snooki” which ruins me finding someone since I refuse to be a modern “Snooki”

But reality shows have changed television period, because now every show has to put this level of smut in their shows to entertain the mass population. Every show is pushing and pushing the boundaries of censorship and seeing who can be the raunchiest. All I can say is enjoy your future, because your children will give you grand children from several partners, will strive for that club life and maybe be working on their fifth or sixth marriage depending how old they are.
