I hope some of the new shows this fall are good because this season alone I dropped Grimm, Once Upon A Time, Revenge and The Vampire Diaries. I want to drop The Big Bang Theory too, but the husband still likes it enough and I don't care enough to make a stink. I've been hate watching for two seasons so I guess that'll keep happening.
I'm on the fence about Lost Girl (season five better be amazing to make up for the crap fest that was season four).
Psych, How I Met Your Step Mother (don't even get me started on my lingering rage about HIMYM), Raising Hope and Being Human all ended. Surviving Jack was pretty funny but got canceled after only airing five or so episodes (out of eight- Fox strikes again).
Castle was pretty mediocre this season but I still enjoy it, so I'll be tuning in next season. Also tuning in for Agents of Shield (just finished this season today- I am emotionally compromised), Sleepy Hollow, New Girl (I don't know why either). Also going to try Agent Carter (big hopes!), Gotham, and Selfie.
I watched season one of Arrow and Elementary but didn't get around to catching season two, but I want to for both. (Elementary more than Arrow though) I might try The Flash next season too, depending on how my season two viewing of Arrow goes.
How about you, three remaining LJ friends? What are watching?
I know I'm way behind the times, but I've made a tumblr. It's mostly for fandom rants, gifs, pics and spam. But follow me or something. Let me know if you have one and I'll follow you too.
Hello everyone. I need you to go check out my friend's crowdfunding request. She's a fantastic writer who needs some cash right now. She's got 5,000 words of her novella up for free so you can go see read and see I'm not lying about the fantastic part. If you have an extra buck or more, please help her out and chip in. http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/…
I finally, finally finished Wizard's First Rule. Nothing happened for 790 pages and then everything was summed up in the last 30 in a really haphazard way.
This week, I've read Kelley Armstrong's Waking The Witch and Spellbound, 2/3 of the last Otherworld books. The last three are basically a trilogy, to end the series in a big bang. They're been ok books, but not the big deal fireworks I was expecting. I think they're the same level of interesting as the other ten in the series. I'm loving Savannah as the narrator though. I'll be picking up the last book at the library today. A little sad that the series is over, but thirteen books is a good run. I wish that Jamie and Eve had gotten more than one book each though.
Nothing else going on with me lately. Fandom has sort of taken over.
