If I wasn't a celebrity...

I made this community in 2002 with my writing partner. I have since moved on from role playing and with my money and time creating this game, as well as the website. My friends no longer being in the community, I felt it was time to let After Celebrity go.

Thank you to those of you who have been a part of this vision for the last four years. I had a few laughs, made some good friends and am happy in knowing others have had the same joys I have.

To all, good luck in the future. May your role play time be as fun as mine and may you all have the same memories as I did when I left After Celebrity close to a year ago with Dani Raabe and Chris Kirkpatrick.

I'm doing a little something, a fundraiser for charity; Make-a-Wish Foundation to be specific. I'd like to make it a big something though. So, if you're willing to help me out, and have $5,000 of your own money to anti-up, plus are willing to give up a bit of your time, please read on:

I'm looking for 5 Men and 5 Women volunteers for a charity event that I will be holding on Saturday, July 29th. If you sign up, you'll need to be available to be at said charity event, an AC group chat will be formed, and all AC members will be invited to participate in the gala. More information will be forthcoming--first to those that will be the gala volunteers, then to the community at large.

Right now I just need the volunteers that will be assisting me for the gala. You will need to show to the event dressed nicely, with check in hand. That or be prepared to participate via satellite from wherever you are. You don't have to be physically in LA to be a participant. If the gala is a success, there will be more held at a future date. My goal is to raise $100,000 from the event.

So, if you're willing to volunteer your time for the gala, please comment this post. I am taking volunteers for the gala on a first come, first serve basis. The comments will be screened. If I get a lot more than the 5 of each sex, I'll make a second list for future events and so on.

Also, due to recent stirrings in the community and so on, I'm not certain everyone's got me on their AIM. I'd love to be able to get hold of everyone so I can include you all in the gala, so please add me to your AIM lists! Doomed Karl.
