Okay, I know this is going to sound crazy, but I think this might be Barge weird and not just...me weird or something. Anyway has anybody else... [She pauses and hesitates to say it because it's a little crazy. But then she just bites the bullet and says it.] ...heard things?

I was on my way to get dinner and I heard bells in the hallway. I followed the sound to here [behind Daneca is shelves of books, so she's in the library] but it just stopped. Like there's nothing over here that could make that kind of noise and it was like it vanished anyway.

I don't know exactly what kind, but they're loud. I mean really loud.

Has anyone else reported hearing them as well?

Not that I know of.

I haven't heard anything. But then, I've only been awake again for like a day. Maybe there hasn't been time for me to notice.

No one else has said anything about them yet that have stayed awake that I'm aware of. So I don't know if this is a new thing or I'm just going crazy. I'm kinda hoping it's not the latter...

If you are going crazy, then it's probably a barge-specific crazy. Nothing around here ever seems to just happen, y'know?

That's... [She looks momentarily surprised.] Actually really reassuring.

Yeah. I know, right? No matter what, at least we pretty much always have something to blame it on.

It'd just be nice to know what exactly this means.

Wait for it, I guess. Either we'll get more clues, or eventually somebody will have to figure this out.

Someone has put an enchantment on the walls and I don't approve of it.

Can you tell me what sort of bells they were?

An enchantment? What kind of enchantment?

[She shakes her head a little.]

They're just really loud.

If I knew, I could take it apart. But what besides magic could do this?

Hallucinating's sometimes a symptom of magic I'm more familiar with, but I don't know so much about enchantments or anything like that.

Hm. What schools are you familiar with on your world?

There aren't really...schools in my world. Has Cassel ever explained it to you?

I have heard it spoken of in general terms, but not in specifics.
