Final Dungeon Quest
An experimental first person dungeon crawler created for the Premium Crayon and Kazoo Jam 2026 with the goal: "make silly 3d dungeon game with kicking as a core mechanic, built around Twine/Sugarcube2."
Currently working on expanding it out into a proper rpg, which is why there's no saving yet. Next update will be a major rework of much of the current game in preparation for a stable alpha baseline. See my recent devlog for details. Might be in 2 weeks if current progress holds. Not likely longer though.
Update 0.0004a (5/13/2026): (+2 Hotfix)
-More bug fixes, tons more polish, a stats menu, an inventory system, and a few new items. Weapons must now be equipped to use. Moved settings to the pause menu (Escape). Added click to interact with switches or talk to NPCs. (Yes, I caved.) New floor got pushed back to next update, but overall I'm very happy with how the game's shaping up. (Special thanks to Allyson Gray for feedback, and Coral Nulla for pointing our a bug.)
Update 0.0003a (5/4/2026):
-Bug fixes, polish, keybindings, rebalancing, a new item, and a new secret. Mostly sanity and structural work in prep for more advanced content. Wasn't planning to release this yet but an engine bug needed fixing. (Thanks Damon L. Wakes for pointing it out.)
Dev Release (NpcChat.zip):
-NpcChat.zip contains this game's chat macro system for free use in your own SugarCube2/Tweego projects. Check README.html for basic instructions. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments below.
