WELCOME TO MY BLOG!

i’m adam or addawm!

i’m a 21 year old, disabled, pansexual, brazilian-american, he/it trans man, you can reach me on discord @addawm, or find me on artfight or toyhouse(work in progress)! i’m going to be posting art on this blog! my artistic interests at the moment mostly involve furries, gnc and trans humanoids, mlp, monster hunter, dinosaurs, and body horror.

i will be posting suggestive art here, and i hope to start posting sexually explicit art on an external site at some point in the future, so minors are not welcome and will be blocked!
sexual concepts i am likely to explore:
-puppy play
-t4t
-non-monogamy/multiple partners
-bondage/restraints
-intoxication (of the marijuana variety, maybe a little alcohol)
-praise/worship
-punishment/training
-toys and overstimulation
-teasing/light cnc (y'know, playful/insincere no’s and struggling against restraints/overstim)
sexual concepts i can guarantee i WON’T:
-rape
-incest
-ageplay/regression
-beastiality/ferals
-anything involving the term daddy (ToT)

i’m also generally very liberal with the block button so watch out! any attempts to block evade will be met with a firm stone wall.

i am autistic with a severe anxiety disorder and do experience extreme social difficulties from time to time, and while i have spent most of my life trying to learn how to effectively communicate with and understand others I still often find myself misunderstood. i will always try my best to communicate directly, authentically, and unafraid, and i would appreciate if that is considered. i swear often, and i promise that unless i am also explicitly being mad, that im not angry, aggressive, or argumentative just because im saying fuck, and if i am assumed to be, im just going to block you. honestly, if ANY incorrect assumptions are made about me and acted on/stubbornly believed im blocking just for that. be curious and do not assume shit about me because i can guarantee you will be wrong!

i am not interested in engaging in discourse/infighting! i believe in marginalized people standing united to support and elevate each other in these times of extreme vulnerability and danger. online activism isn’t my thing, i find more fulfillment and find my time better spent supporting the friends and found family and the needy i have in my local community. if you think this is me virtue-signalling just go ahead and preemptively block me or get off my fuckin page lol

i am interested in making friends and connections! don’t be afraid to dm, but please try to actually engage in meaningful conversation! i’m down to chat about art, media, games, weed, kinky shit and whatever else! basically anything as long as you’re engaged and interested!

i’m still pretty inexperienced with tumblr’s format but i’ll try my best to be consistent with tagging! i have different personal art projects that i’ll tag with unique tags!

“It’s easier for trans women to pass/be stealth!!”

“It’s easier for trans men to pass/be stealth!!”

Actually it’s easier for people with very specific bodies (white, thin, average height) with large incomes and supportive families to transition medically in a way which is more likely to conform to strict ideas of ‘man’ and ‘woman’

I swear every time I see someone try to make the argument for one of us having it better they exclusively either cite celebrities (again, see white, rich, thin) or assume that the people they know irl are representative of every trans person.

It also begs the point that YOU DO NOT KNOW IF SOMEONE IS STEALTH UNLESS THEY TELL YOU. No one actually knows how many trans people successfully live as stealth.

Most of the passing trans people I know personally are women, but most of the trans people I know to be stealth are men. I also know far more trans women than I do trans men. Not to ignore the fact that these arguments completely erase non binary people who are pressured to just pick a binary gender to ‘pass’ as because it is functionally impossible to be a ‘stealth’ non binary person.

It is completely possible to have important conversations about the specific oppressions that different kinds of trans people face without framing one group as being completely objectively better off. Stop trying to pit us against each other. It isn’t easy for *anyone* to be trans in this world.

We have got to stop framing our oppression in ways that promote the idea that other people cannot relate to our struggles. Not only does it isolate comrades in the struggle, it actively diminishes recognition of other struggles--often including those even more horrific than what we are at risk of. And this happens especially between Gay and Black struggles.

"when have straight people ever had to check what states were safe for them?" Sundown towns are still a thing. Starlight tours. What states have abortion access? What states have open carry? What states have stand your ground? What states have 3-strike rules? Women, people of color, disabled people, immigrants, and more have had to be abundantly cautious where they travel to. Straight trans people have much more travel risk right now than gay cis people.

It's a new iteration of the same tired question: "imagine if straight people weren't allowed to marry" interracial marriage in the US is younger than my parents. We disgrace people of color by forgetting their history and contemporary struggles, and we abandon queer people of color, Black queer people, by segmenting their overlapping fights.

As lovelyshananigans says, "intersectionality, babes"

from "Promoting and Protecting Human Rights in relation to Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Sex Characteristics" by the Asia Pacific Forum of National Human Rights Institutions

For those who haven't heard of Shivy Bhat: he was 19 years old and already being abused by his family while living in California, when after asking his mother if he could cut his hair, she demanded he give her access to his phone and was outdated as trans. Under the pretense that they were taking a trip back to India to see his grandmother, Shivy's family kidnapped him, planning on forcing him to live in India in order to "fix" him by teaching him to be a "cultured Indian girl," and planning on forcing him into an arranged marriage. They had taken away all his identifying documents and his phone. He managed to escape with the help of a local queer feminist group, which then resulted in a legal battle as Shivy's family tried to accuse the group of kidnapping and sex trafficking to get access to him again.

This is not the first case of a trans man in Uttar Pradesh experiencing his family use the legal system to kidnap him after he escapes to a trans shelter. A trans man, 'Aditya', came to a shelter "starved and scared," telling shelter staff his family had confined him for days and he feared for his life. Three days later, in the middle of the night, police forcibly took Aditya from the shelter, without a warrant and without following the procedure of the shelter. In a different incident, a trans man, 'Deep', fled to the Asra shelter because his father, a police officer, was violently abusive, writing in a letter that "I know if I go [back home], I will not be able to come back. They will either kill me or marry me off" and that "I believe [my family] will lock me in the house and there is a threat to my life." Five policemen came to Asra and physically attacked shelter workers, arresting two trans men who worked there and taking them to the police station where they were assaulted further. Similarly, in this article trans man named Vivek Azad talks about his family beating him, having men sent to rape him, not allowing him to cut his hair, and having all his school certificates burned by his brother which prevents him from getting employed. A 17-year-old trans man named Manoj was beaten, tied by his hands and feet, and locked in a room in his family's house after coming out, and forcibly married to a man twice his age, although he was eventually able to escape with his girlfriend and get a divorce from the man he was forced to marry.

#these are heartbreaking#but also tie precisely back into what i keep saying about how violence against those reared into expected girl/womanhood is invisibilized#ie less political legislation is made specifically targeting these groups not because they are let off scot free#but because the unwritten social contract of a high-control patriarchical society says from the outset 'these are the people you are#EXPECTED to rein in. EXPECTED to discipline. shame upon the patriarch of the house if he cannot 'correct' a deviant member of the lesser#gender class.' and so because it is such a social shame this violence is carried out in the home and not publicly.#obviously this is not to say these groups don't also face public violence but that saying these groups aren't publically/legislatively#targeted is a) untrue b) conveniently obfuscates societally-sanctioned private violence as just a fact of this side of gendered rearing#the statistics on IPV alone corroborate this but are somehow dismissed as 'lesser violence'. default violence.#i keep meaning to write up a post about honor killings as gendered control mechanisms but i am so tired of this blog at this point#on a lighter note im mallu (not tamil but a closely related language) and learning the tamil word thirunambi from reading this did make me#go :) for a moment. yay queer terminology in L1s#anyway it is not an exaggeration to say in some cultures and parts of the world one is born into the property class of the familial unit.#and not even wanted property at that; the perceived girl child is a money pit and a burden to be foisted off on a man as soon as possible.

I Really Like This Girl, But My Guardian Angel is a Terrible Wing-man!

Casey, Canem, and Quinn are the main triad of a story/comic I'm planning with the working title "I Really Like This Girl, But My Guardian Angel Is A Terrible Wingman!"- a parody/loving tribute to cheesey ridiculous romance manga and comics. In it, Canem becomes "assigned" as Guardian Angel to Casey to help him with his crush on Quinn and, of course, ridiculous hijinks ensue.

This project is still a VERY early work in progress so I unfortunately don't have much content to share but I plan on changing that :) You can also find all three of them on my artfight!

More info under break!

You can support imprisoned people by sending them letters of support and money to use for the commisary and phone calls. Being in prison is expensive. Don't write anything that would get them in trouble. Prisoners' mail is read by guards.
