hey everyone,

just wanted to check up on ya'll. it's been a while since i've written in here. i've been touring for a while now, on and off since february and it's now mid-july already. i've played almost 70 shows since the year began and they've all been friggin' great, honestly.

and a texas tour coming up in september for all you texans.

hmm what else... well tour has been amazing for the most part. i've seen a lot of the country this year, and after september i will have seen everything that i've wanted to see in the continental united states. i'll save hawaii for the honeymoon. i just want to thank you all for the support on the new cd, coming to the shows, ordering merchandise online, just for everything. you've all given me strength to keep going and you've put food in my mouth and gas in my tank and rent in my landlord's hands for 6 months now, and i thank you from the bottom of my heart.

i have some new songs a brewin'. i plan on unleashing them soon, don't know how, don't know when, but it will be soon. they're still finding their way from my brain to my hand, and i dont' want to rush that. i think i'll record some demos of them and post them online before i do anything else, just to see what you all think of them.

i think I should have stayed asleep for the last few weeks. ya know, back when i was able to do such crazy things as sleep, and walk, and formulate complete sentences.

being awake was just not worth it.

my eyes close at will but that thing called sleep is so far off in the distance, even if i could focus on anything i still wouldn't be able to see it and call it on over for a visit.

sleep doesn't like me.

doesn't ever come by.
to say hi.

all i get is sleep's voicemail.

damn you. won't you just return a call once in a while? maybe i'll see you tonite? come by and punch me in the eye if you can find the time. lay me out good, like you mean it.

as of 5pm i'm the #1 'unsigned acoustic artist' on purevolume.com and i'm #3 'unsigned artist' with almost 5,000 listens today alone. who knows what it will go up to by tonite, i won't because i still have no laptop at the apartment, but maybe someone can keep track and let me know? can't even believe it... but whoever's listening, keep doing it!

I'm on the prowl for an apartment in Brooklyn.
Last nite I met up with this little landlord named Sid to see a place in Kensington. The place was complete with dead roaches in the closet and a sinking ceiling.
$800 a month.

guys we're so close to 100,000 listens on purevolume. i think we could break it today. i just want to say thanks to all you guys for following what i've been doing for the last few years. we hit the 100,000 listens mark on mp3.com a few years ago and then that went to shit so we had to rebuild on purevolume within the last year. this is still going strong which is just awesome, right when i was ready to throw in the towel everything turned around for the better. the split CD comes out next month, a full length is in the works for later this year or early next year, and i'm surrounded by awesome friends, and a lovely girl who loves me a whole lot. I WIN!

sooooooo i'm not sure what to do this summer. i want to rock the country but don't know where to go and it's kind of getting late to start booking a summer tour unless it's in august.

any suggestions?

i need a new avatar/picture/thing for livejournal. badly.

New songs are done - the CD will be out next month. I don't know what's happening with the West Coast next month, so it might turn into a Midwest tour instead. Can anyone setup a show out in OH, IN, IL, MI, or neighboring states sometime in late July? Hook it up.
