After an AIM conversation a couple of nights ago, I now have a Mon Colle Knights plotbunny nibbling at my brain. I really need to get the fool thing down on paper before it does too much damage. I can't afford to lose any more brain cells.

Believe it or not, it actually isn't a Zaha fic, either. It's a mildly slashy fic involving Collection. Count D from Petshop of Horrors is also trying to get into the act. Now, if I can just figure out how to get this to work believably...

A couple of nights ago my sister decided to try some recipe for tea. It came out tasting terribly. The next night, she tried it again, but this time she paid a little more attention to the ingredients. As in, actually read the packages.

It seems the first time, instead of corn starch she added baking soda. That's right up there with my grandfather making pancakes with soap flakes instead of cornmeal.

Hummingbirds! Hummingbirds! Hummingbirds!


Ahem. The hummingbird feeder's been up less than four days and already there are at least three takers! It's right outside the window by the computer, so I can watch them while I surf the 'net. They make such cute sounds! They're so adorable! (Yeah, I'm a girl. Sue me.)

Yay! I finally have the third volume of the Mosquiton OVA! I also now have episodes 1-26 of Mosquiton '99.

It's just ironic that, a few days after I finally obtained the third OVA volume, a shop in Town Center Mall started carrying the DVD, when no one had been able to order it for me for almost a year. Oh, well. I have the episodes now, so I'm happy.

In other news, hummingbirds are adorable. There's at least one that comes to the gladiolas outside my window. It makes the cutest sounds!

Last week my sister had noticed we were out of iced tea, just before she went to work. When she came home, she began preparing some more without checking to see if anyone had already done so while she was gone... which one of us had.

Good thing I took advantage of the chance to laugh at her back then, 'cause I just did the same damn thing.

I got this little gem from my father earlier this evening. The original is in huge, brightly colored type and includes the photo described. (I'm having to type in every code, so I'm going to be lazy and leave those things to your imagination. Anyone who wants to see the original, let me know and I'll e-mail it.) Check out the little legal garbage at the bottom--as though distributing this foolishness is so very daring. And people wonder why I don't go to church anymore.
