Well, I had an interview at Wellspring House today to be a volunteer there, which would be child care, maybe English as a Second/Other Language, tutoring, etc. Sounds great. They'll contact me in... two weeks.
I also filled out a form to go to prom with Becca, which will be awesome. I still need a Prom dress. Prom's next Friday. Huh.
There's also a fox outside. All the cats are in except Oliver, who I suspect is playing it safe and staying away from said foxy death, but I'm still worried. Twiggy just came in and she's very nervous and clingy. Poor thing. I'm scared for my kittens!
Ollie hasn't come home since last Thursday night. He went out in the middle of the night and we haven't seen him since then. I'm so worried about him. If you live near me and you see him please call me! ( Collapse )
My computer works! I'm on it right now! It's online! I had to reinstall everything, but it WORKS! And it saved my copy of Angel's Story and it saved all my pictures and yay! To celebrate, here's a picture of sleepy Ollie: ( Collapse )
I've been having computer troubles recently. My computer shuts off randomly and we don't know why. We're going to try a new power supply, and if that doesn't work we'll check out fans and just keep trying, but basically my parents have said that this computer will eventually be replaced with a laptop that will be the computer I take with me to college. I'm really excited, I really want a laptop. Right now I'm using my mom's laptop, since my computer is so annoying. Bleck! But hey, she has Firefox! My computer doesn't like Firefox, sadly. I'm kind of rambling, I guess, but that's okay. I like to ramble. I'm really enjoying Firefox's spell check. Twiggy keeps running across the keyboard and doing things I didn't even know where possible. She's rather acrobatic and she doesn't seem to understand gravity. Now she's trying to unplug the laptop. "Pay attention to me, not the laptop!" She says. Actually, it's more like "[plpp;][]l,mnyhjtrjnhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" But okay. She loves to dance on the keyboard, press keys and attack my finger. Oop! Now she's chasing her own tail. Very cute. When I get back to my computer I'm going to see if I can post pictures of her here, it shall be quite cute. If I can ever get her to sit still, that is, it's really hard to get pictures of her awake that aren't blurry. In other news, my brother and I walked downtown and bought some donuts, they were really good. The cashier recognize me too, he'd seen the band play a concert once and he remembered me.
My brother's 13th birthday present (early) is... a kitten! We went and adopted her this afternoon. Her name's Twiggy, she's 10(ish) weeks old and she's beautiful. She's all white with a grey spot on the right ear and another bellow her right shoulder. Her tail is all grey except for the very tip.
Maine was nice, the weather was good Saturday, a little rainy Sunday. Sam and I set up the fire Sunday while our parents were sleeping, it was kind of fun. Ollie and Sophie came up with us, but we had to leave Isabella and Loo Loo behind. They were fine, and Ollie and Sophie are great travelers. They slept the entire ride both ways except for when we stopped or slowed down and stuff. Ollie did worry us on Saturday. He wouldn't come in and we couldn't find him and we kind of walked all up and down the streets calling for him. When he got dark he just showed up at the door like nothing was wrong, though. Didn't let him out after that. Overall a fun time.
