With the recent rumours of the uncertain fate of Delicious bookmarking service, I've been taking a stab at backup scripts. Now, Delicious lets users export their bookmarks, but that's not quite what I want for fandom or personal purposes. What I am more interesting in saving, is collections of fic recs via delicious' notes feature. For example, Commonplace Magic, a story of ours, has the following collection of feedback and recs on delicious. So is Two Lockets. So is Red Right Hand. I want to be able to back up those pages, preferably in a single script. There wasn't one around, so I came up with the steps that worked for me.
