October Contest - AceLightningFans DeviantArt club!

I'll keep it simple since I gather the lack of activity is most likely due people being busy.

So this time I want a character piece from you. That's all, just a character piece, portraying any character, canon or OC, any way you like. Artwork/comic/fanfiction, it all goes here. Pick a character and tell the world about them somehow! Dark angst or light-hearted comedy, it's all good!

Rules:
Entries MUST be submitted to the correct folder; 'October Contest'.
Entries MUST be completely your own original work.
Entries MUST be made from after the contest opens, they cannot be from before.

Prize: Again, the prize is an Ace Lightning themed picture of your choice from me...  :P

The Ace Lightning Wiki needs YOUR help!

 Melodramatic title time!

Evilgidgit and I have recently begun to expand the wiki to include fandom works, and this is where I need your help. In terms of how long the fandom has gone on for, I'm relatively new. I missed out on every early development and most of all I completely missed the RP, which sounds like it was one of the biggest events the fandom ever put together.

We need articles on the roleplay, on fanfiction, on individual fancharacters, you name it. If you have the time, please join in. Feel free to start with a simple fancharacter page, just copy the layout of one of the official character pages! For a more in-depth contribution, how about creating an article about a fanfiction (or even the RP), listing the synopsis, linking the cast and the locations, etc.

I decided to record one of my Ace fics and see how it came out. It wasn't too bad, despite me using a bad microphone and my iPod. :) There was an annoying high-pitched noise through the whole recording before I managed to edit it with Audacity. I'm surprised it turned out as well as it did.

Well hello there!

Hi all,

Is anyone still alive?

Thought I would pop along - having a moment of nostalgia! I am so glad to see Sarah managed to get all the episodes up! I meant to do it for months while I had the DVDs but of course life kept interrupting me! It is a pain when that happens. I so miss the days of sitting about in my PJs and chatting and RPing all morning.

I don't miss the having next to no cash element of that situation, but the free time was lovely.

I am, at last, working a 9am to 3pm job that pays well, so I am hoping to get myself a little laptop and be online as much as I can (perhaps even sneak it into work and hook it up there a couple of mornings a month) so I can see you all again.

This note is made specifically for the members of the ace_lightning community, particularly (but not exclusively) the Roleplayers.

So. I'm making a vid, and I need some roleplay work examples. So I was wondering if any of you had any fanart or drawings you had made concerning RP scenarios. Any fanart which either does relate to the RP or can be vaguely connected to it in any way (I'm especially looking for Kellamy and Kilobyte here, because the video is lacking in moving images of them, but other stuff is also very much aprpeciated). The vid will be posted on www.youtube.com and 8abbott_of_odd0 will be credited with the initial formation of the community.

No being shy, now :P I'd like to get a few examples from and by all of you.
