welcome baby boy
Wow, I have not posted in a long time... Baby boy was born one month ago! 8 pounds 10 ounces, which is pretty crazy considering how tiny J is. He's a cute little guy who eats all the time (just like me!) I will post a private post on about his name later. Neither J nor I have slept for more than 2 hours at a stretch since he was born, but other than that, life is pretty stinkin' perfect with the two babies running the show.
His sister is doing just awesome. Starting walking at 11 months and is now running and climbing up on things. Walked into the living room and found her standing on the coffee table. She's signing and talking quite a bit as well.
Her vocabulary list so far:
ball (ASL and spoken English)
mama (ASL and spoken English/Mandarin)
no, no (shakes head and spoken English)
ya ya (means 'duck' in Mandarin)
milk (ASL)
more (ASL)
sleep (ASL)
bao bao (means 'pick me up'/hug in Mandarin)
apple (Taiwan Sign Language)
book (spoken English)
eat (ASL)
cup (ASL)
And then tonight... during her bath:
Baby girl: Ahhhhhh! (wanted the toy cup I took from her because she was drinking her bath water)
Me: (signing and speaking) No "Ahhhhh!" Say, please give me. (hand her the cup)
Baby girl: (signs) "Thanks"
This was a bit baffling since I never taught her thank you...
