Fujiya Miyagi i first heard this song on Left Of Center on Sirius Radio (26) about a month ago and i fell in love with it, i found out a few weeks ago they had a badass video and i decided to post it :D i like the simplicity and the sound effects of these guys but i haven't heard enough of them to give them a good review, any does anybody have any suggestions on what songs i should buy next?

So, I downloaded this new record by these guys because it's completely FREE and also because I had read that Regina Spektor was doing some voice stuff on it and I'm sorta a big fan of hers. Anyway, I'm really liking it besides all that. The lead singer's voice can be kind of nasely..but I don't know.. It's growing on me. I personally liked the songs Light Brigade, Requiem Aeternam, and Weird the best..And the Regina version is no longer downloadable.. So, if you're at all interested in that.. I'd be happy to upload it somewhere. It's mostly monologue, but I think it adds to the songs.

this is a song i listened to for a long time, i got into these guys when i saw them at All Tomorrow's Parties Hosted by Modest Mouse and they put on a really awesome show! i loved this video a lot and talked about it in a post of mine in the modest mouse community.  but check these guys out, isaac brock produced some tracks for them on their EP and they are really good.  Although these are one of the bands that have great music with a really strange vocal style, unique but most people wont give them the chance to listen to the lyrics because of the other singer. i like this singer better though... but yeah i like the song and the video is awesome. and like i said in the modest mouse community you can sort of hear some Wolf Parade yelps (the last 30 seconds) in the song Invisible by modest mouse

the video makes the song even better, i love how the machines take over and the music completely changes

Now Here We Go Sir!

hopefully i will have this thing finished by the end of the week but i just wanted to get something started, 

I need an icon so anybody who wants to step up to making one that would be badass! 

like i said this will be a place for modest mouse fans to talk about music, and by talk i don't mean (insert band name) sucks or just to flame other bands,  i am hoping this will become a good place for fans to share tastes in music that other fans might share so we can all listen to some new music, if you have something that is related to modest mouse please post it to the 

modestmouse community.

i think i shoudl be able to moderate this alright myself but if i need help i will come to you, please dont come to me asking to moderate.

i hope this can be a cool community and not turn into a battle zone with people fighting over who is better and why one band sucks, try to keep the comments nice :D thanks
