Well guys, I decided to create a big forum for Video Game/Anime RPG's. It's brand new (I just got finished making it, actually), and is in need of members. There's a big variety of fandoms, and requests are definately welcome. The forum might still need some more work, but I'm sure with comments/suggestions from the members that join, I can work it out.

Okay, so I've seen NGE. I own NGE. I liked NGE. But honestly, it was not groundbreaking for me. It was not the greatest anime of all time. It was decent. Now they have another set of DVDs to buy! How many are there?!? Is it really necessary to have 3 different types of NGE boxsets to own? I know, it's all marketing and whatever. But how much can they milk this for? I'm sorry if you don't like this analogy but its like they're kicking a dead horse. Leave it alone! Geeze.

Ahem. So it seems the community has died again. Which is very sad since the vast number of people who are members seem to be pretty darn cool. I'd like to attempt to breathe life back into it.
Sooooo..... who's heading to what convention and when?
I ask because... well.. why not? I'm trying to live vicariously through everyone who has attended a con. I have not. Ever. It's hard when you live in Canada and most of the conventions are in the US. Also, its hard when you have a crap job and no chance of getting the cash to GO to a convention. So, now I have a new not-so-crap job (its actually a great job) and I will be attending Katsucon 2007. I'm very excited about this, because it will be my first convention and I will get to meet a bunch of really terrific people!
So, any interesting convention stories? Funny tales? Yadda yadda yadda. Help a convention newbie out!

I am looking to purchase some pretty figures of some of my favorite characters in anime. I'm talking really good quality figures (should they exist) but I am looking for figures of any kind really, so long as they're good quality. I am not looking for cute plushies or chibi-figures, just plain simple figures.
Anyone know where I can look? Online that is. Just fire off a few websites to me if you would, I would greatly appreciate it. :)
Oh and if anyone wants specifics I'm looking for Gundam Seed, Bleach, Kenshin... the list goes on but that's a start point :)
Umm, I'm not sure if this is allowed, and if not then I'm sorry. Let me know and I will delete it as soon as possible. Okay that said, I just wanted to let everyone know about a fledling message board for all kinds of anime that is in desperate need of new activity to stay alive. It is ran by a friend of mine, and he really wants it to be a good site, but we need new members. So if any of you would really hate to see a good, but new site for all things anime disappear then please go check it out.
