Hey does anybody have any advice or know any tips? I've always wanted to know how to do something.

1. If you can avoid it, never call a business on the first day of the week it's open. Wait until at least 40 minutes after they're open on the second day. This waits out the first wave of frantic callers and gives whoever is on the phone time to grab a coffee and drink enough that they don't feel disturbed in their morning start-up ritual.

You'll spend less time on hold and reach more people with the time and patience to hear you out.

2. Take notes for phone calls. You can literally make a numbered check list of what you definitely want to bring up, and then during the call take down who you spoke to, at what date and what solutions/deadlines were promised.

This keeps you on topic without forgetting your priorities, and also gives you something to refer back to later.

The method of changing your duvet cover by rolling it onto the duvet was a huge help when I had low energy:

A rice cooker can also cook most frozen vegetables, as long as they're in small pieces, and can reheat precooked meats also in bite-sized bits. You can make a whole meal in around half an hour by dumping 1 cup rice, 2 cups liquid, and 1-2 servings of meat & vegetables in a rice cooker and hitting start. Use a flavored liquid, like broth, or mix in seasonings at the start, and you're good to go. Cubed carrots and sweet potato with canned chickpeas and yellow curry paste, for example. Frozen peas and pearl onions with shredded chicken and chicken broth.

Whatever you like.

Papercraft commission of Frieren! I love this series, so I was extra excited to make this piece. ^_^

Since I had free choice of what spell to depict, I picked the Vollzanbel/black hole spell from the big magic fight in episode 25, because I thought it would look especially rad made out of shimmery holographic paper. Plus, I also got to make flying rocks! Bursts of fiery light! Lots of drama!! And, my favorite part - I got to go super, wildly detailed with Frieren's hair!

hi this drives me crazy

  • canon is what happens in the text. e.g. merlin tries to poison morgana
  • a headcanon is a fact that you have personally made up as an elaboration of canon. it is your invention. e.g. i think morgana and gwen had a teenage lesbian situationship before the events of canon. or, i think modern morgana would love evanesence.
  • an interpretation is how one reads the existing text. it is not an invented fact nor is it a headcanon, it is a reading. e.g. i think merlin tries to poison morgana out of misplaced self-hatred. or, i think that one line was delivered with suppressed malice and shows a nuanced relationship.
  • fanon is the general fandom’s accepted headcanons and interpretations that elaborate or recontextualize canon. e.g. merlin is a badass waif and morgana is a bitch.
  • these are all different words with different meanings.
