Hi my name is Adrienne. I just graduated this year with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with minors in Anthropology and African American Studies. This fall I plan to apply to Master's programs in counseling that focus on social construction theory. After that I'd like to continue my education but I'm not sure in which field. I eventually see myself doing a PhD program in the social sciences.
For the past three years through volunteer and paid work I have been helping community college and high school students learn how to get access to a higher education. I have met some amazing students and parents over the years and seeing people succeed who thought they couldn't is beyond rewarding.
I also studied Spanish abroad in Córdoba Spain from February 1st to June 13th 2005. It was a life-altering experience. I love Andalucia and consider it the world's best place to be during the Spring.
I think everyone should find their own way to help the world become a better place. I also like long walks on the beach.
