It starts before training camp, but no one really recognizes what’s going on. People don’t know each other for years, see each other every day, and just suddenly bond out of nowhere. If it was going to happen, Sid would have guessed that first year they played together, or after they won the Cup.

Instead, Sid wakes up a couple of days before camp starts and feels a twinge in his knee.
