i didn’t know abt defector.com until i stumbled across it the other day and was really really pleasantly surprised to discover a publication with a relatively men’s-lifestyle-mag tone where guys were talking with beautiful humanity abt parenting their baby daughter and defending trans people as a matter of course
like people have said before that actually the idea that the entire world outside our tiny beleaguered enclaves has gone full MAGA and hates you is not only really painful to internalize but actually genuinely wrong
