A crime prompt community inspired by the BBC show Sherlock.
The concept for this community came from a Sherlock fic that I read. This FIC HERE, in fact. At one point, the author listed a series of random crimes that Sherlock Holmes might investigate. And I thought, yes, this is what the aspiring crime writer needs...problems to solve.
While this comm is for fans of the BBC show Sherlock, it could easily be used by any writer to help kick off a story.
Prompters: Post your Three Patch Problems in the form of clues. Writers can pick and choose how many of the clues to use in their fiction. Bookmark your entry so you can return and see if anyone has taken on your case.
Writers: Please comment if you are inspired and please come back to provide links to your fiction in the comments if you use a prompt.
Any member can post prompts. Keep them clean enough for 14+ as this is not a closed community at this time. More adult language or situations can be posted, but please put under a cut with a warning.
