OH MY GOD I am soooooooooooooooooo tired of bieng pregnant!!! These last few weeks are killing me! I just want May to get here, when May gets here then atleast I'll be on my last month and I'll know it's on a 'any minute now' status instead saying next month. I just really really want my body back! I want to be able to hold my baby in my arms and kiss him and look at his beatiful face instead of feeling him kicking me in the ribs. I can't wait to be able to drink 5 glasses of wine and eat raw oysters and drink red bulls again!!!
Anyone else experiencing a change in fetal movement?
I'm trying not to worry too much, as I'm still experiencing the 'minimum' number of recommended movements per day, but I am a little concerned, I will admit.
I'm not feeling the same movement over the past few days. Baby seems a lot quieter, movements seeming a lot fainter (more like the flutters in earlier pregnancy) with no obvious sort of limbs, if you get what I mean? There doesn't seem to be any sort of pattern to baby's movements anymore, (i.e. more active at night, etc.) just random flutterings and not directed at any particular part of my bump.
I shall be at the midwife unit tomorrow evening for an antenatal class, so just wondered if anyone thought it was worth mentioning?
I'm 29+3 (but measuring around 32 weeks if that makes a difference)
X-posted to May and June community, sorry if you see it twice.
anyone else in here having pain in your hips?
Everything is going smoothly, which I am so happy about. I am measuring a week ahead. That makes me a little nervous only because my son was 12 days early and this baby could come even earlier. Eek!!
My midwife and I also discussed placenta recipes. Ahhhh!! That is so exciting!

Howdy!! My name is Cari and this is my second baby. I am due May 23rd and we are waiting to find out what we are having. My husband and I have decided to have a home birth this time around and I am super excited.
My name is Cara, and my fiance's name is Christopher.
We live in Auburn, Nebraska, and are expecting our first child.
He is a boy named Ronnie James, and my due date is May 17th.
I have a c-section scheduled on May 13th, which I am very nervous about. My doctor said my pelvis is too small to safely push a baby out so I will need to have the surgury. Other then that I am enjoying my pregnancy very much, and Im very excited for my son to arrive.

Today my appointment with the midwife was my physical instead of mainly a medical history interview. I learned that my cervix is tipped low, to the point of practically unreachable. =oP
Thankfully, SPD has not returned this pregnancy. BeanBaby's heart rate measured 160. I was also referred for the midpoint ultrasound. It appears that Juliet, my five and a half year old, may come to observe as long as she has a support person to take her out if she gets squirrelly or uncomfortable. So, if she asks we will look for gender, if not we won't.
The ultrasound is next Wednesday morning. My next midwife appointment is in five weeks. Despite being prodded in places I do not like being prodded by just anyone, overall I enjoyed today's appointment.

Hello everybody. I meant to join this community a bit back but I forgot, doh.
Here's my little profile thingy:
Your name: May.
Your partner's name: David.
Location: Auckland, NZ.
When is your due date? May 14th :D
Is this your first child? No, I have a 5 year old daughter named Rahel and a 17 month old son named Vegas.
Any other information you'd like to share? As you can see by my icon, I'm not finding out the sex of the baby until it comes out of me lol.
First I wanted to find out but David didn't. We found out with Vegas so I had to make a deal that we wouldn't this time lol. Not that I believe the doctors anyway cos they told us Rahel was a boy o_O
I was supposed to have my week 20 ultrasound on the dawn of my 20th week, but since the first day of week 20 of my pregnancy is on Boxing Day lol, I'm having it done on the 27th instead.
I haven't felt the baby kick yet, but I'm hoping it's gonna be this week or next and I hope David is around to feel it when it happens :D
Also I am finding it hard to decide on middle names for the baby - we have decided on the name Shawn for a boy and the name Imara for a girl, but we can't decide on middle names lol. First we were gonna use our first names but I thought that was too cheesey XD
Man sorry I'm rambling but it's cool to chat to other people who are due in the same month as me!
