This community presents graphic-making Stargate fans with a challenge for those who accept: Make 100 Stargate icons in three months.

Here's the deal:

1. If you wish to participate, join this friends only community. Once you've been accepted, you can make your claim. You can claim any character from the Stargate movie, Stargate SG-1, or Stargate Atlantis.

2. If the person you wish to claim is already claimed, you can comment here. I will add you to the waiting list.

3. By claiming a character, you are saying that you will make 100 icons in three months, following the themes outlined below.

4. THIS IS NOT A CLAIMS COMMUNITY. Once you have finished your 100 icons, you will lose your claim. That character will be claimable for another who wishes to take the challenge. You will, however, receive a completion banner. This banner can go on your user info page or anywhere, but DO NOT DIRECT LINK! If you do not know what direct linking is, please ask. That knowledge is important in this community. Those who are found to be direct linking from me or from any other user will be banned.

5. You must post your first icons within the first seven days of being accepted for a claim.

6. When you post icons, make sure you fill out this form and add nothing more:

7. You must post at least five icons every three weeks.

8. Only use new icons.

9. Only post icons that you have made. This includes not letting somebody else animate your icon for you. Use your own abilities, and when you find them lacking, learn new skills. Learning more about making graphics is part of the fun.

10. Please use LJ cuts when posting your icons.

11. Please let me know if you have to drop your claim here.

12. You don't have to be an icon maker or to make a claim to join; however, only those with claims will be able to post.

13. If you like an icon and want to use it, comment to a post and let the maker know you're taking it. Credit that person in your keywords.

14. Don't modify icons you find here.

15. Do not EVER repost anything you find here or put anything you find here into a collection available to the public.
