Kalli Sobania
Operations Coordinator
Originally from central Minnesota, KALLI SOBANIA’s musical career has taken her across the U.S. and abroad, connecting with a variety of audiences. She earned her Bachelor of Music from St. Olaf College, graduating summa cum laude under the mentorship of Francesca Anderegg. Kalli went on to complete a Master of Music at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Kristin Lee. As a graduate assistant in Performance Management at CCM, she developed a strong interest in arts administration. Now based in San Francisco, she looks forward to contributing to the Bay Area’s arts community through both performance and arts leadership.

Stephanie M. Neumann
A/V Project Specialist
Composer, saxophonist/vocalist, conductor, and audiovisual editor/artist STEPHANIE M. NEUMANN earned an MA in Music Composition at Mills College, BA in Music at Miami University, and Certificate from The Recording Workshop. Her recent audiovisual projects include Ensemble for These Times' "For Good Measure" podcast and concert visuals, and GLFCAM’s “Bahlest Eeble Readings” virtual premieres. As a composer, she has written electroacoustic and contemporary works premiered by performers such as Ensemble for These Times and flutist Brice Smith via the #GLFCAMgigthruCOVID initiative. She’s also a current member of Sl(e)ight Ensemble and has explored multiple genres, performing with a variety of instrumental/vocal ensembles, collaborations, and solo projects.


Christy Xu

Mezzo-soprano CHRISTY XU is a versatile artist who is trained professionally in both opera and musical theater realms, she brings classical technique and a rich emotional depth to every role she performs. From childhood lullabies to broadway stages, music has always been her guiding star. She finished her bachelor’s degree in Wuhan Conservatory of Music and her Master’s degree in San Francisco Conservatory of Music, she is currently enrolling in the Professional Studies Certificate program in SFCM. With a deep appreciation for the power of music to connect and inspire, she strives to create unforgettable performances that resonate with audiences on a profound level.


Samuel Mason
Intern
The work of composer, songwriter, and pianist SAMUEL MASON fuses elements of classical, jazz, and popular music. He has performed original music at venues all over Westchester County, NY, and New York City, from coffee houses to 54 Below and Central Park, representing Young Adult Institute (YAI): Seeing Beyond Disability. He is earning a Bachelor of Music Degree in Composition at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music - where he works closely with instrumentalists who publicly perform his music - under the instruction of David Conte.


Renata Volchinskhaya
Intern
Born and raised in San Francisco, violinist RENATA VOLCHINSKAYA is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in violin performance with William van der Sloot, at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. Renata previously attended the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts and studied with Catherine van Hoesen. She has studied with the Kronos and Alexander string quartets as first violinist of the Dragon Quartet and interned at the Kronos Performing Arts Association. During her free time, she enjoys assisting with her family’s gourmet chocolate business.
