Some random woman I drew. No idea who she is. The holiday was/is very starnge, but there is too much to do to go into all of the happenings.

I had to stop drawing on this or I could continually move the pencils on the paper until it is was black and red smear. This was a photo from a random triber. I did ask for permission to draw, but when she never responded, I decided that meant, "yes".


This piece really hit home how helpful it is to have uninterrupted drawing time. It sometimes takes half an hour to figure out how the pencils are treating me on any given day. So it seems like if I have an hour to draw that I will get three times as much done, compared to if I only have half an hour.

You would never accuse me of that, right? I think I am done. i will most likely go to Tahoe this weekend, obsess about this painting and then go home to decide if I am well and truly done.

I guess I was productive today. Aside from the housework and job hunting, I managed to finish my painting. between being sick and going to class for a couple weeks, I had been to the gym once in the last month. Monday and Tuesday I hit the gym, so it is not only a feeling of satisfaction, it might be the benefits of having worked out.

and I got some last night. Yes, today was a good day.

Everyone has been hit with the bug. You know the bug that grabs a hold of your stomach and squeezes until everything squirts out of both ends? Yea that one. I have not been stricken down (yet). The little girl got it Sunday and was held out of school Monday. Monday nikki420e got it and is still feeling iffy, Now the big AOC just came home early and is praying to the porcelain goddess.

Yuck

nikki420e is going to a conference in Minnesota tonight, so I get to deal with the next week solo. (and I finished this picture of a chat buddy)
