- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Drawn to Life has not seen a re-release since the DS era. There was an iOS port of the game released in 2014, but it was removed from the App Store a few years later and fell into this as well.
- Late Export for You: The Korean version was released four months after the game's North American release, whereas the Japanese version released over a year after.
- What Could Have Been:
- Several more unique Raposa were meant to appear in the game. The most notable of these are Fortune Cookie, a rival of Cookie who owned a Chinese restaurant, Repair Guy, a repairman whose real name went unknown as the Mayor and Mari couldn't remember his actual name, and Fujikoda, a female Raposa reporter with a camera who would've been the last unique NPC rescued in the game and knew Indee. Despite not being present in the final game, Repair Guy showed up in the November 2007 issue
◊ of Nintendo Power, and his sprite was later recycled with a minor tweak for Rocko, Bernard, and Sprocket in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter. - An entire cut world named Meadow Gate was planned, and would have been visited between Beach Gate and City Gate. As the enemies in the gate would've been more agile than those the Hero had previously encountered and there would have been obstacles that required speed, they would have received the Pet creation to assist with traversing the levels. The Meadow Gate world got far enough into development that the world's gate ended up being used in the final game as the gate for the City Gate world, with the City Gate's old gate being used as the template for the Secret Door creation that leads to Shadow Lair.
- Alongside the snowball fight, there were meant to have been more minigames throughout the game, like one that would have involved fixing broken buildings by piecing them back together, playing hide-and-seek, putting out fires, and a rhythm game with NavyJ. Most of the buildings the player would have repaired in the assembly minigame became creations that are colored in by the player in the final game. A remnant of these plans can still be seen in the final game, where the section in Isaac's Shop where the player purchases the snowball fight minigame from is named "Music and Games", seemingly implying there are more to buy.
