- And Your Reward Is Infancy: Return to happiness in childhood, sometimes achieved through reincarnation.
- Back to the Womb: A character is returned to the womb, usually by some form of regression or time travel, often while retaining their adult mind.
- Born-Again Immortality: An immortal being who is reborn as an infant every time they die.
- Butterfly of Death and Rebirth
- Came Back Strong: A resurrected person is more powerful than they were before they died.
- Came Back Wrong: A resurrected person comes back damaged or somehow changed, or something else entirely comes in their place.
- Fetal Position Rebirth: A person is in a fetal position when they come back to life.

- Heel–Face Reincarnation: A villain is reborn as a hero or innocent person.
- Media Transmigration: A character dies and reincarnates as a character within Show Within a Show.

- Reincarnated as a Non-Humanoid: A human is reincarnated as an animal, mythical creature, or even a sapient object
- Reincarnated as the Opposite Sex: A male is reincarnated as a female and/or vice versa.
- Reincarnation: The belief that a person is reborn in a new life after they die.
- Reincarnation Friendship: Two characters who were friends in a previous life meet again and become friends again.
- Reincarnation-Identifying Trait: A physical or personality trait used to identify someone as the reincarnation of another character.
