Linda Robson (Creator)

Linda Patricia Mary Robson, (13 March 1958), is a British actress best known for playing Tracey Stubbs in Birds of a Feather (1989).

Her first on-screen appearance was in Junket 89 in 1970. She had a minor role as Barbara in the second series of Survivors (BBC). She then appeared in Pauline's Quirkes alongside her long-time childhood friend Pauline Quirke who would go on to appear alongside her further in the future. Robson also appeared in the short-lived Britcoms Going Out and L for Lester and played Maggie Moon in Shine on Harvey Moon.

In the late '80s, the creators of Shine on Harvey Moon, Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, cast Robson and Pauline Quirke as Tracey and Sharon, two mismatched sisters, in their new sitcom, Birds of a Feather. BOAF was one of the biggest hits of The '90s, and Robson and Quirke returned for a Revival beginning in 2014.

Robson made guest appearances as a panellist on Loose Women in 2003 and 2010, before returning as an occasional panellist in 2011. When Jenny Eclair left in 2012, she became a regular panellist and still is to this day. In 2024, she wrote a memoir, Truth Be Told: Tales from a Baggy Mouth, and played Kath in Bermondsey Tales: Fall of the Roman Empire.
