Grey DeLisle (Creator)

Billed as a "Superstar Voice Actress" on the Anime News Network, Grey DeLislenote , was born on August 24, 1973 in Fort Ord, California, as Erin Grey van Oosbree.

She has been cast as evil teenage girls (Vicky, Sally Avril), sweet kids (Lizzie, Emily Elizabeth, Wubbzy), villains (Azula, Jacqueline Natla, Femme Fatale) and heroines (Kimiko Tohomiko, Daphne Blake, Kitty Katswell). She's also been heard as Betsy from Curious George, Lady Redundant Woman from WordGirl, Ginger from The Tom and Jerry Show (2014), Black Canary from Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Portia Gibbons from The Mighty B!, Flicker from Handy Manny, Ms. Marvel and Amora the Enchantress from The Super Hero Squad Show, Brianna Buttowski from Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil, Dr. Rebecca Holiday from Generator Rex, Cotilla of Zevo-3, the Dark Jedi Asajj Ventress and Padme in Star Wars: Clone Wars, and various characters in MAD. After the passing of Russi Taylor in 2019, she was chosen to take over as the voice of Martin Prince and the twins Sherri and Terri.

Outside of cartoons, she's notable for Catwoman in Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Knight and Injustice: Gods Among Us and its sequel. Other roles include Escape from Monkey Island, Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, and several Star Wars games. She reprises her role as Ventress in a bonus level in the Force Duel mode of the PSP version of the video game The Force Unleashed and appeared in two of Blizzard's main franchise games as the Dominion Ghost Nova in StarCraft II and as the female wizard in Diablo III (and reprised both roles in Heroes of the Storm, the latter re-christened as Li-Ming.).

Other notable roles include Therese and Jeanette (Tourette) Voerman in the White Wolf RPG PC game Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, Frida Suarez in El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera, Sam Manson in Danny Phantom, Frankie and Goo in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Riley Daring and Buzz Winters in The Replacements, Wonder Woman/Diana Prince in both iterations of DC Super Hero Girls, Lily Loud and twins Lola & Lana in The Loud House, and Princess Mira and High Priestess in Samurai Jack. Out of all of her most notable characters, Azula is her favorite character to voice.

Perhaps her most unusual role is being on the top right corner on the box cover art of the Nintendo Switch game 1-2-Switch. She noted Nintendo inexplicably photoshopped her nose to be "bigger" rather than smaller.

Like Kath Soucie, she also has talent with accents as seen on Mighty Magiswords, Wolverine and the X-Men (2009) and The Mummy: The Animated Series (British); Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Carmen Got Expelled!, and My Gym Partner's a Monkey (Mexican Spanish); Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! (French); Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (Hungarian); and Invincible (2021) (Russian). She's even spoken a bit of Japanese and German as Yumi on Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi.

She can play the autoharp and the clarinet, and has made several albums of various genres such as: country, rockabilly, americana music, and folk music, using the money from her extensive voice acting work to fund her musical aspirations. On her 2005 album Iron Flowers, she covered "Bohemian Rhapsody", one of the most well-known songs by the British rock band Queen.

Grey is also a stand-up comedian. In 2018, she released "My First Comedy Special" on Amazon Prime. It's free to watch if you have an Amazon Prime account.

She eventually became a fan of Homestuck, joining her fellow Avatar castmember Dante Basco, and even recording small audio clips in the roles of Vriska and Rose. She also lent her voice to a certain grey, cross-eyed, muffin-loving pony in this little animation.

She is fluent in Spanish and is able to do a Mexican accent in most roles due to her being of Mexican descent and grew up in a Mexican-American household and was raised by her late Mexican grandma Eva Flores, who was a singer and performed with Latin jazz legend Tito Puente and she describes herself as "a 75% white woman".

Her niece is YouTuber and fellow voice actress Anna Brisbin, better known as Brizzy Voices.

  • She's the daughter of her brother.

  • Interestingly, Grey's son Tex Hammond is also Anna Brisbin's first cousin.

  • She has also been a significant mentor and cheerleader to her as she has transitioned into a successful professional voice acting career herself.

She's of Irish, Dutch, French, Mexican, and Norwegian descent.
