The Come From Away cast recording is available to stream for free until it's released on the 10th. I cannot recommend this show strongly enough.

Well, I managed a nearly perfectly bloodless breakup. It only took ten minutes, no one cried, we said we'd try to stay friends, and even bowed to breakup tradition in a non-traditional way by eating ice cream together.

So. It's good to be out of a dead end relationship. But I hate being single.

Anyone going to Shore Leave and want to meet up? This is my first con in a while (because John Barrowman) and I'd love to see folks.

It occurred to me today that the ex knows that I have an LJ and probably knows my username. Which would be embarrassing if I thought she cared enough to have wandered over here and read the last couple of posts. I think that's unlikely, though, so I'm probably safe.

I've gone on a couple of dates and just keep thinking that they're perfectly nice, but not who I want. natlyn says this means that I'm not ready to date yet, and she's probably right. And yet, I'm not getting any younger, so waiting seems inadvisable.
