Genesis: My Apple IIgs crashed to a blue screen with a "]" prompt. So, like a good little 8-year-old ape who had just seen Superman III, I aped what Richard Pryor did and typed "LIST." Program code spilled out on the screen in AppleBASIC. Most epic hacker moment of my life.

Catabasis: Went and got lost in the softest of sciences, molecular biology while continuing my surreptitious dalliance with computer science, sneaking around on the Neuroscience curriculum to take AI classes.

Rebirth: Decided to combine my two intellectual loves and use one to spread the gospel of the other. I always learned biology with programming metaphors anyway. It's time that everyone saw what I think in my head, and the optimal way is to code it.
