As for here...let's start with what's not the majority
Sam and Jess are getting married and Dean couldn’t be any happier for them. Honestly, they’re kind of disgustingly perfect for each other and Dean’s pretty damn excited about staying with them the week before the wedding. He’s Sam’s best man, of course, and he doesn’t even mind that Jess has her own best man to share in all the organisational duties. The more the merrier, right?
Except Dean must have done something to epically piss off the universe because Jess’s best man just happens to be Castiel friggin’ Novak. He’s got even hotter since High School, but apparently no friendlier and if Cas wants to spend the week pretending like they’ve never met before? Fine. Two can play at that game.
Art: And with my main bang choice, I got another current favourite--rom com with gutpunch. I can't lie--there's not much I like more than drawing Cas, and that kinda shows with the choices I made. I didn't know the story was going to be as angsty as it turned out to be, but that's what they call gift-with-purchase. Thanks to noangelsinthegarrison-- my author, sophiap-- my beta, who knows how to tweak for maximum impact, and the 2014 DC Big Bang mods, who know how to run a deft challenge. I apologise thoroughly for the lack of NC-17, or even PG. I really meant to! One of the big challenges was getting balance of pictures with words. Shared Skies As the Southern Kingdom takes action to conquer the Four Kingdoms, it is up the Dean of Winchester, Alpha Prince of the West, to return order to the kingdoms. Is marriage to the Omega Prince of the North enough to stop on coming war, or will unknown forces bring about the end of peace between the four nations forever?
Artsiel has written an a/b/o medieval piece, it's my job to try and do the rich prose justice. It was really obvious that the writer was very visual, and I was scared for a while that I'd contradict her and "ruin" everything. But she assured me that's not how it'd worked, shared her sources for the wedding pictures, and then I went big with the rest (Gustave Dore guided a lot of my choices, even if I can't aspire to a fleck of his talent. I'd have drawn everyone in a completely new outfilt, if I could have justified it...

It doesn't really matter what Dean wants or says, he knows that. Sometimes he tries still. But this Cas is beholden to none that he can determine. Not anymore, not after everything. ( Collapse ) Thank you, sophiap!
I've fallen victim to proper planning--I had half an idea, was given another quarter by my sister, but I sill have a horribly empty corner that ruins the composition.
Is there anyone that can beta help? In exchange for as many virtual kittens as you like?

Late signup for SPNJ2BB. I'm also signed up for D/CBB. That's worked out well the time I tried it, as did the genteensybang and the gabriel big bang which I missed this year. I have done spncinema, but I don't think my talents are thusly suited. I could not get a story for the first time I signed up for SPNJ2BB. I don't think it was clear what time signup started. I'll set an alarm for it, or take time off work!
I hope I have better luck this year.
What other challenges/exchanges have you signed up for? I just recently learnt of the springfling. That seems sweet.
