"Ready for Porridge" is a song repeated throughout the storyline in Episode 4059 of Sesame Street.
On the day that Curly Bear tries her first bites of porridge (a momentous occasion being she's from the famous story), Monster on the Spot reporter Telly has hired the Fairy Tale Chorus to musically proclaim the historic event. The group is comprised of Little Red Riding Hood, the Three Little Pigs, the Big Bad Wolf, and Little Bo Peep. Over the course of discovering Curly doesn't like porridge, the group proceeds to sing the brief interlude as Curly gives it another try, as she heads to Hooper's Store to get a second opinion, trying Alan's porridge, and when grabbing her brother Baby Bear by the nose.
