They read what they've got so far and note they’re missing a rhyme for “end”; Telly suggests the made-up word “shplend” when Baby Bear points out the poem is fine as it is. They then realize the missing rhyme is “friend” and give him a big hug for his help. Telly vows to make something better than “shplend” for Baby Bear. |

The group, dressed as Valkyrie opera singers (complete with horned helmets and facial hair), are led by Bob as they sing about a kingdom with no porridge (starring Miles as Baby Bear) until his Fairy Bearmother (Linda) grants him his wish of birthday porridge. The opera finally gives Telly an idea as to what he can give to Baby Bear and he dashes off. |

SCENE 8 | Telly rushes back to give Baby Bear his gift, though Baby Bear points out he already gave him his gift - having everyone on Sesame Street make him something for his birthday. Everyone then arrives singing “Happy Birthday to You” and Alan presents Baby Bear with Telly’s other gift: a big bowl of birthday porridge shaped like a cake! He blows out his candle and gets his wish - for everyone to share his porridge. The group heads to Hooper's Store to dine on a bigger supply that Telly and Alan have prepared. |

Notes
- Baby Bear's birthday, according to Sesame Street calendars and magazines, is May 12th.
- Zoe wears her tutu, which she previously wore in Episode 3851, throughout most of this episode. She began wearing it on a regular basis from the next season until Season 49.
