About Lynx

My name's Conrad Wong, "Lynx" to some and "Tuftears" to others. I am retired, working on my writing and art; I used to work for a big search engine company. In my spare time, I read a lot and play games. I also cook for myself.

I like cats but don't have one at home - what I do have is a collection of over 50 stuffed lynxes of various types. Everyone has to collect something, no? I picked up the "Lynx" moniker when a friend dubbed me one a long time ago. My friends seem to agree that I'm an "upstart feline miscreant".

I used to be active in "furry fandom" for a while but have drifted away from the scene. I was the chief editor for PawPrints Fanzine, a general audience anthropomorphic-themed magazine, through 1994 to 2001. My art has appeared in local convention art shows, comic book covers, and role-playing game books, and I've published some stories in small press magazines, one of which was reprinted in Furry! The Best Anthropomorphic Fiction! edited by Fred Patten.
