Got fr my husband. Samsung is best brand for us. The brightness is perfect. Can be adjusted. It was a great price. Does use a sim card so can use it without internet, which is great for travel. Battery life is really good, last! It is the perfect function for what he needs. It is really for for a tablet. Everything loads quickly.

This is a great little tablet. I needed a tablet that was inexpensive enough to deploy to a sales team and not worry if they get destroyed. This tablet fits the bill. it is plenty capable and when you add on the cost of a good keyboard/case, it is still well under $300. My mobile provider will supply me up to four free sim cards for adding up to four tablets per phone line at no extra expense per month. They do share the same data plan but don't cost me anything extra per month, which is great. I did get the 5G versions but if you don't need mobile data and are content sharing the wifi from your phone, then you can save a little money compared to the 5G version.

My sales team is out in the field meeting with clients, creating contracts and taking payments on-the-fly. Our contract and payments tools are web-based so I don't need any special iOS or Android apps, which makes deployment easy.

At first I got iPads but these do everything the iPad does, are bigger than my iPads and only cost about half of what the iPad does. I did delete most of the Samsung cruft from the device to keep them simple for the sales team, and they work great. Our Square-based payment devices connect via Bluetooth and complete the mobile salesperson's toolbox. Plus, at less than $300 each, I can order them in packs of ten without breaking the bank.

Some reviewers complained that their device came locked to T-Mobile, but mine have all come unlocked. Because of the other reviews though I do take them out when I receive them and make sure. If any ever come locked, I'll just return them right away.

When I get a new one I go to googlefi and request a new data-only sim card and they send them to me via UPS. I stick them in, enter the sim card's secret code into my GoogleFi account, and they connect right up every time.

Also some reviewers say that the Galaxy A9+ case won't fit. I double checked with Claude AI and it said the A9+ case will fit so I bought one and it does fit perfectly. I got a few of the these $24 EAMPANG keyboard cases - https://a.co/d/0ijkg9E7 which specifically say they are for the A9+ and don't even mention the A11+, and they fit perfectly.

For users that need a more ruggedized case, I also buy the $19 Ztotop cases - https://a.co/d/0iqISnbw and they also fit perfectly. They just don't come with a bluetooth keyboard, which I suppose you could get separately for about $15.

I prefer the Ztotop ruggedized case but they both serve their purpose. Each sales person gets to decide which case they want.

I also buy the $9, 2-packs of these stylus/pens - https://a.co/d/0gPV0qJ7 which work great and end up being $5 each. They also fit perfectly into the EAMPANG case's stylus storage slot.

With the tablet, case and stylus / pen my total cost is about $270 for each device.

Charged to full before attempting to setup. Had issues with overheating that persisted despite all attempts to mitigate.

Overheating was occurring near the sim card and didn't properly propagate across the tablet surface. This made the overheating a severe issue requiring repeated disconnects from power, no app access, and long stretches for cooldown.

Problem was finally traced to the microSD card. Suspect that the issue was due to the system pinging the micro SD card.

Recommend that anyone setting up one of these NOT install the micro SD card until after setup is completed and the status is verified without the card. Also, as soon as is practical, turn on power saving features.

Third recommendation would be to not plug the tablet in while performing heavy use tasks.

Major irritating point for me was that it wouldn't permit me to shut it down for troubleshooting. I still need to examine the manual to figure out how to perform shutdown.

Post setup testing found the messaging app to be irritating as I, repeatedly, had to retype this problem wasn't as obvious in Google Sheets. When not plugged in, recommend closing any window that isn't being used as they slow the pad down, increase heat issues, and seem to constantly ping the Internet link.

Hopefully, the tablet will resolve my discomfort (inability to read) with the smaller screen size of the cell phones; which is the purpose in getting the tablet.

Of note, particular to AT&T, the month to month service is as a tablet. As my intention is to replace the cell phone, it should be noted that AT&T is looking at data only, not phone+data for cell phone.

Will find out for sure if this means no service when data runs out. ????

Great tablet. Got it for my son's homeschool, the Google family link app makes it easy to set limits on how long he can play games and watch YouTube kids while still letting him use educational apps. Build quality is impressive, screen is crisp......but the viewing angles leave a little to be desired. Screen brightness is good enough for car trips in the Texas sun. Overall it's a great value for the money, and great for kids.

Disappointed as I had high hopes for this. The A11 since my purchase has consistently automatically turned off when the screen is tilted. I googled it and it is a known issue online. Folks have recommended turning off the auto rotate as well as screen timer to updating the system with restarts. WelI I tried it and it still has issues and I will give it a few more days to see if I can fix this, but if not it will be going back.
