Phantom Nightmare
Phantom Nightmare is a Core Booster in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game (OCG) and Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (TCG). It is the 3rd Core Booster of Series 12, following Age of Overlord.

The Korean set was pre-released at Anime X Game Festival 2023 on December 2–3, 2023. It was released to retail on January 12, 2024.[1]

- In the OCG, the first print runs of Phantom Nightmare boxes include 1 Phantom Nightmare +1 Bonus Pack. In addition, 1 Hidden Chapter Pack 2023 Vol.3 was given to buyers for every Asian box purchase of Phantom Nightmare.
- Includes cards used by the Paradox Brothers and Sergey Volkov.
- The TCG version also includes cards used by Tragoedia and Yusei Fudo.
- Introduces new members/support for the "Archfiend", "Aroma", "Diabellstar", "Dracoslayer", "Earthbound", "Favorite", "Gate Guardian", "Ghoti", "Goblin", "Guardian", "Horus", "Majespecter", "Memento", "Phantasm", "Polymerization", "Raidraptor", "Rank-Up-Magic", "Rebellion", "Rose" and "Snake-Eye" archetypes, as well as the Sacred Beast, Signature move and White series.
- Introduces the first support for the "Skull Guardian", "White Aura", and "Yubel" archetypes.
- The TCG version also introduces new members/support for the "Junk" and "Xyz" archetypes.
- Introduces the "Goblin Biker" and "Voiceless Voice" archetypes.
World PremieresEdit
- The TCG version of this set starts the trend of releasing 6 World Premiere cards (081 to 086) that are not direct support for any archetype, but whose effects have great synergy with two World Premiere archetypes from the past. This set introduces cards designed for the "Kozmo" and "Subterror" archetypes.
