The MC is the master of ceremonies for tournaments in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. He is easily recognizable for both Japanese and English viewers through his catchphrase: "Everybody listen" when announcing a new match in the Japanese episodes. He is also recognized by his long pompadour meant to resemble a microphone. He is very upbeat and tends to get overexcited, often standing on his desk when the action heats up.

BiographyEdit

He commentated Jack Atlas' Duels when he was the "King of Turbo Duels" and the Fortune Cup. He also explained how the World Racing Grand Prix competition would be conducted.

He rarely shows bias in his commentary, never criticizing Yusei Fudo for his criminal mark or Akiza Izinski for her powers. However, he did lead the audience into insulting Akiza for being a witch after she assaulted Yusei with "Rose Tentacles" by saying that she "truly is a witch". The only time he showed bias in his commentary was during Yusei's Duel against Z-one, albeit justifiably.

He shows remarkable dedication to his work, swearing that he will continue recording and commenting on Yusei's Duel with Aporia, despite the destruction throughout the city. He returns to commentate Yusei's Duel against Z-one, despite it not being part of a tournament. He urges the citizens to evacuate, while he commentates so that they can still know how the Duel is progressing, saying that he would rather die than to miss the Duel.

The MC commentates all races in the game, and makes appearances in Story Mode. He does not participate in the races outside of commentating.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Tag ForceEdit

The MC appears as a non-duelist character in the Tag Force games.

The first time the player talks to the MC every day, he will give them a random gift. The MC can appear in any random area of the map, but he changes locations when the sunset begins and when night sets in, and each time a new day begins. He moves when the player becomes partners with another character for a day as well.

The MC also appears in story events involving tournaments. If the player enters a Tag Duel Tournament at the Stadium, the MC commentates at the beginning and at the end of each round.
