Animation Chronicle
Animation Chronicle (アニメーションクロニクル Animēshon Kuronikuru) is a series of OCG-exclusive Booster Packs. It is a renewal of the Collectors Pack series.
Animation Chronicle sets feature adaptations of anime-only cards. The first two sets featured around 50 unique cards, the vast majority being printed for the first time. In contrast, the 2023 set changed to contain around 60 cards of which only less than half were anime cards, while the rests were reprints related to anime themes featured in other sets released around the same time. This shift coincided with the return of small numbers of anime-original cards being released in Core Boosters, starting with "Dark Corridor" in Duelist Nexus, the first set of Series 12.
In TCG, the cards introduced by the first two sets were imported in the Battles of Legend sets (continuing from Collectors Packs), while the others were inserted into the new Maze series.
