The platform gives spectacular views stretching the full length of the church, as well as the rare chance to see some of the architectural details which decorate the nave up close.
An aerial view inside Westminster Abbey, showing a long, vaulted ceiling with many ribbed arches. The nave is lined with tall, arched windows, and the floor plan reveals rows of quire stalls facing an ornate altar. Warm lights illuminate the space, highlighting the intricate stone carvings and decorative chandeliers hanging from above.
A intricately carved golden ceiling boss depicting swirling foliage patterns, accentuated by decorative stone ribs converging upon it, set against a backdrop of a beige vaulted ceiling.
A stone sculpture with a grotesque, crouching figure. Its face features exaggerated, curled expressions, and it clings to a decorative architectural structure. The surface shows signs of age, with weathered textures and darkened areas.

Work to build the present nave began in 1376 and it was finally finished in around 1517. It is home to some of the most significant memorials in the Abbey, including the Grave of the Unknown Warrior.
