Side-note, you can watch exactly when the time changes by pressing Y and looking at the top-center icon on the map. This icon updates dynamically, time continues to pass even while you're in menus. Shown below is the Day to Dusk icon transition:

- Before anyone claims "this doesn't work", you have to OPEN THE GAME at the correct time. Changing the system clock while the game is open/loading/at the in-game start menu has no effect. The time it uses for the day/night cycle is determined when you first open the software.
- Correction to my original tweets, thanks to @Sibuna_Switch, we have a better idea of how Morning works, due to the lack of in-game icon. It appears to last the same duration as Day, making it an even 18 minute split between the two! Here's an updated SV Day/Night cycle chart with the correct time ranges, updated to account for 18 minute Morning/Day intervals:I'm also going to delete the tweet with the original chart, please repost this version if you see the original (incorrect) chart being shared around!Oh, and if you hunt down a time marked shiny using this, please tag me, I wanna see em :3
