We're moving all of the $IACS and Omniacs.DAO talk over to @Omniacsdao. Please follow that account for updates on the Digital Data Omniacs and their plans to support open source and the public good.
"Shill me your $ALTs!" said @TheCryptoDog.
"Sure thing!" said his $crypto followers.
After 1,500+ replies and a couple hours of #datamining, we now have a nice barchart of the top coins mentioned in the thread. Looks like @Cardano_$ADA and @vechainofficial$VET topped the list!
We're continuing with our fundamental analysis on #masternodes; this time we've brought it back to the VERY basics. Does the #masternode coin you are interested in have a working website, a published whitepaper, and active governance? You'll be surprised at how many have none.
Analyzing investment performance for #masternodes involves tracking both the price and block rewards earned over time. From 3/16 until today, we followed the value of each MN, included their daily returns & then compared them against a $BTC baseline. #cryptocurrency#bitcoin#MNO
We declare a #masternode coin dead if it has lost 95% of its value and at least 14 days have passed since its price peaked. On average it takes only 63 days after peaking for a MN's price to go to 0. If your coin can hold value longer than that, it might be a keeper. #crypto
#Masternode projects with the most potential have well written whitepapers that communicate the value add of the proposed technology. We used #nlp and #ml to create a white paper score to sort #masternodes that yielded promising results. The $BTC WP was included as a reference.
To create our #masternode Github rankings, for each coin, we collected stats on the # of:
- contributors
- forks
- stars
- watchers
- commits last month
then normalized by the age of the #masternodes repo. As expected, stalwarts like $DASH & $PIVX topped the list. #crypto#dyor
#Masternode liquidity is best measured by total Vol &the # of #masternodes traded per day (Vol/MN Cost). We ranked each coin by their 7 day avg. values and included a "Rank Trend" column that shows the change in rank from April 4th when we first introduced this approach. #dyor
Our updated #masternode social media rankings measure engagement by aggregating
-Twts per day
-Retweets per twt
-Likes per twt
-Time between each twt
Graphing against MCap reveals a highly correlated relationship
1) $SYS
2) $DASH
3) $PIVX
4) $XLR
5) $DEV#masternodes#dyor
A silver lining within the #masternode ecosystem is that, despite price declines, the communities behind these coins have steadily increased the security of their blockchains by spinning up more #masternodes. Over 100 coins have a growth rate of at least 1 added MN per day. #dyor
As a follow-up to our 4/16 price analysis on #masternodes, we tracked the value of exactly one #masternode for each coin from 4/14 until 7/14. We then included their block reward returns over this period and compared the value difference against a $BTC baseline. #cryptocurrency
When ranking #masternodes, a healthy coin disbursement can be a solid indicator of adoption and governance participation. This week’s analysis looks at #masternode wealth distributions as sorted by the percentage of coins held outside of the top 100 largest wallets. #crypto#pos
An awesome talk today by @earowang on her #rstats package #tsibble. She even includes some really cool windowing functions that allow you to more easily gather observations across time.
