'I'm just motivated': Chase Brown joins WLWT after Sunday night win over Giants
WE’LL TALK MORE ABOUT THAT LATER. BUT FIRST BACK LIVE TO THE FIELD CHARLIE AND OLIVIA WITH THE MAN WHO SCORED THE 30 YARD TOUCHDOWN TO ICE IT. CHASE BROWN. GUYS. HEY WELCOME BACK HERE. LOOK THIS TEAM WAS LOOKING FOR WINNING PLAYS OVER THE FIRST MONTH OF THE SEASON. CHASE BROWN JUST DELIVERED IT HERE IN PRIME TIME ON SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL. YOU CROSSED THE GOAL LINE. WHAT GOES THROUGH YOUR HEAD TONIGHT CHASE. JUST RESPOND I MEAN IT WAS A MESSY GAME, ESPECIALLY THE FUMBLE BEFORE THAT PLAY. SO IT WAS LIKE BITTERSWEET. IT’S LIKE FUMBLE THEN TOUCHDOWN. BUT HOW I’M FEELING RIGHT NOW I’M JUST MOTIVATED MAN. I WANT TO BE BETTER. I KNOW THIS WHOLE OFFENSE WANTS TO BE BETTER. SO WE’RE EXCITED ABOUT NEXT WEEK AND HOW WE’RE GOING TO RESPOND. SHORT MEMORY, A HIGH JUMP AFTER THAT GAME SEALING TOUCHDOWN, WE SAW A LITTLE BIT OF A LAMBEAU LEAP HERE FROM CHASE BROWN. WHAT WENT THROUGH YOUR HEAD. AND DID YOU KNOW ANYBODY IN THE STANDS. IS THAT WHAT YOU’RE DOING. NO I DIDN’T KNOW ANYBODY IN THE STANDS. BUT I JUMPED SO I HAD TO GET UP THERE. THAT’S KIND OF JUST MY MINDSET. BUT PROBABLY GOT A COOL PICTURE OR SOMETHING FROM THAT CHASE BEHIND THE SCENES DREW LIEBERMANN, YOUR WORK THIS OFF SEASON WITH ANDRE YESHIVAS. WE RARELY GET A CHANCE TO BREAK IT DOWN WITH YOU, KNOWING ALL YOU PUT IN BEHIND THE SCENES BRING US IN TO WHAT YOU AND YESHIVAS DID THIS OFFSEASON, BECAUSE HERE YOU ARE IN YEAR TWO, AND YOU’RE RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL THE OFFENSIVE GAME PLANS IN CINCINNATI. YEAH, JUST A TON OF WORK THAT WENT IN THIS OFFSEASON. HE REALLY CHANGED MY GAME IN THE WAY THAT I’M PLAYING SO HUGE, HUGE SHOUT OUT TO DREW. YOU’RE MY DOG. THANK YOU BRO. ASIDE OF THAT MAN IT WAS JUST COUNTLESS HOURS, COUNTLESS WORKOUTS WHERE WE WERE JUST GRINDING, RESPONDING TO BAD DROPS OR BAD DRILLS AND KIND OF SHOWED UP TONIGHT. HONESTLY, SEVERAL STATES AWAY. YOUR BROTHER, TWIN BROTHER SYDNEY BROWN FINALLY BACK ON THE FIELD AFTER THAT GUT WRENCHING WEEK 18 INJURY LAST YEAR. WE GOT TO TELL YOU TWO STORY ON READY TO ROAR EARLIER THIS WEEK. SO HAVE YOU GOTTEN TO SPEAK TO SYDNEY? HE ALSO GOT A BIG WIN RIGHT IN HIS FIRST GAME BACK. THEY GOT A WIN. HE WASN’T ACTIVE TODAY BUT HE WILL BE PRETTY SOON. STARTING THAT 21 DAY PERIOD. SO I KNOW THAT DUDE’S MOTIVATED. HE’S READY TO COME BACK AND PLAY AND I MIGHT SEE HIM IN A COUPLE WEEKS. SO BUM BUM BUM. LET’S GO. HEY, ONE MORE FOR ME HERE. ZAC TAYLOR TOOK A TON OF HEAT LAST WEEK. THE OVERTIME PLAY CALLING. HERE YOU ARE AT ONE WEEK LATER, CLOSING IT IN CRUNCH TIME. YOUR HEAD COACH MADE A POINT TO SAY GOOD TIMES, BAD TIMES. HE’S NOT GOING TO CHANGE WHO HE IS. HE’S NOT GOING TO LISTEN TO THE NOISE AND CALL AN AUDIBLE INTERNALLY BEHIND THE SCENES. WHAT DID YOU SEE THIS WEEK FROM ZAC TAYLOR THAT YOU’LL REMEMBER JUST I MEAN, JUST HIM ALWAYS BEING HIMSELF, STARTING EVERY SINGLE MONDAY. THE EXACT SAME WAY COMING IN, MOTIVATING US, TELLING US THAT WE’RE JUST ONE GAME AWAY. WE JUST GOT TO START STACKING THEM. AND THAT’S WHAT WE DID TODAY, AND THAT’S WHAT WE’RE GOING TO CONTINUE TO DO IN THE COMING WEEKS. AND THAT’S OUR MINDSET RIGHT NOW. STACK, PREPARE, KEEP STACKING QUICK ONE, BEFORE WE LET YOU GO, IS THERE GOING TO BE A FOOT RACE BETWEEN YOU AND JOE BURROW AT PRACTICE AT ANY POINT? THIS WEEK? I THINK HE CLOCKED 19MPH ON THAT. JOE DID 19. YEAH. HE’S MOVING. HE’S HE’S MOVING. SO MAYBE MAYBE, MAYBE WE MIGHT HAVE TO DO THAT. BUT JOE HAD A HUGE GAME. DUDE’S A BALLER. I’M EXCITED ABOUT NEXT WEEK THOUGH. IT’S GOING TO BE A BIG ONE. THANK YOU CHASE. WE APPRECIATE YOU TWO DOWN. PLENTY MORE TO GO. GO GET EM IN CLEVELAND. ALL RIGHT. THANK YOU. GREAT WIN. THANK YOU SIR. MIKE SHERRY.
