State Rep. Dora Drake won a special election Tuesday to fill Wisconsin's open 4th District Senate seat.
Drake won a special primary earlier this month. No Republicans ran in the race.
The district covers parts of Milwaukee's Riverwest and Harambee neighborhoods, Glendale, Shorewood and parts of northern Wauwatosa and western Brown Deer.
Judge Lena Taylor previously held the seat before being appointed as a Milwaukee County Circuit Court judge earlier this year.
Drake will fill the remainder of Taylor's term, which ends in January.
