Lily Mary Thomas was born on 21 Feb 1915 in Masterton, New Zealand, daughter of William Henry Thomas (1875–1944).
Lily died on 27 Oct 1984 in Richmond, Nelson, New Zealand, aged 69. She was buried in Motueka Cemetery, Motueka, Tasman District, Tasman.[1]
Lily (23) married Morris Wilsden Newport (20) (born on 11 Jul 1918 in Motueka, Tasman, New Zealand; son of Charles Wilsden Newport and Zoe (Bradley) Newport) in 1939 in New Zealand. Their known daughter was Eleanor May Newport (1943–2002).
