Nina was born in 1901. She was the daughter of John Procter and Martha Retter.
Nina married Joseph Gordon Hinton in 1925.
They had two children.
In the 1928 NZ Electoral Rolls she was recorded at Queen Street, Pukekohe, Auckland.
In 1963 she was recorded at 15 Grierson Place, Pukekohe, Auckland with her husband Joseph, who was a Power Board Inspector.
She passed away in 1973 at the age of about 72 and was cremated on 17 October 1973 at Purewa Cemetery, Auckland.
