Sophia was born in 1848. She was the daughter of Herman Heinrich Meckstroth who was born in 1819 and Christina Elizabeth Aufderhaar. She married William Huelsmeyer. She passed away in 1923 and was buried at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery in New Knoxville, Auglaize County, Ohio.
