Biography
James Huggins was born in 1719. He was the son of John Huggins and Mary Carruth.
He married Isabella Brevard.
He married Mary Brevard on March 21, 1785 in Rowan County, North Carolina. [1][2][3] Together they had the following children:
- Twin Girl #1 Huggins (1786 - 1786)
- Twin Girl #2 Huggins (1786 - 1786)
- Brevard Huggins (1787 - 1874)
- Jane Huggins
- Unknown Huggins
He died on September 14, 1793 in Iredell County, North Carolina. He was buried in Coddle Creek ARP Church Cemetery in Mooresville, North Carolina. [4][5][6]

Research Notes
Givin the Jr. suffix and the age of the above parents, the father of James Huggins may have been a James Huggins, Sr., son of John Huggins and Mary Carruth. Still researching to see if there is a relationship to Robert Huggins, who is buried at Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery in Statesville, Iredell County, North Carolina.
