Biography
Born in England about 1630, daughter of Abraham and Elizabeth Howe. Came to Roxbury, Massachusetts about 1636, and later Dorchester with her family. Married first Richard Strange before 1651[1], and gave birth to Sarah Strange in Boston 18 October 1651. John Strange died about 1657. Her second husband Richard Curtis was the appointed Administrator for John Strange's estate.[2] She married Richard Curtis on 25 September 1657[1]. They had two children, Isaac Curtis and Joseph Curtis born in Dorchester.[3]The family moved to Wallingford, Connecticut where she died in 1661. Her father's Will, dated 26 May 1676 and probated 2 November 1676 mentions her three children Sarah, Isaac, and Joseph by name.[3]
